Job Description :

  • To maximize ad revenue and achieve monthly/yearly sales targets
  • To develop new clients /potential advertisers for both our newspapers Deccan Herald + Prajavani
  • To interact with clients/advertising agencies for business generation and develop PR on a daily basis.
  • To make daily sales calls to clients/ad agencies and maintain daily call reports for efficient follow up.
  • To do extensive research on client spending pattern/market share viz a competition & have in depth understanding of their market/objectives and challenges.
  • To improve market share & yield of existing clients.
  • To offer customized solutions to clients.

Required Candidate Specifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in PR agencies/corporate communication or advertising sales in print media, radio ,digital or native advertising.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of native advertising formats, content marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and performance metrics for digital advertising campaigns is a plus.
